This is a common sight in Mangalore. But if it does the job, whos complaining. I don't think this is legal, unless proved wrong.

Oh is it a wacky mod job or irresponsiblity.I hate seeing overloaded vehicles as it can be hindrence to others as well.

Well wacky or not is an opinion but the 'T' logo for Tata on hood was factory fitted on the first generation Safari launched in 1998. I am sure about it becuase it is there on all 1st Generation Safari's and the owners on T-BHP can verify ( there is one which completed 4 lakh Km and another with 2.5 L KM on Odo on this board)

Also I do not see anything wacky if a manufacturer puts its logo on the hood of product, There are so many of examples ranging from Ferrari to Force Motors so what is so odd about it ?

The flat 'T' logo on the TCIC hood is stock. but this safari has two 'T' logos. The benz style standing 'T' logo is extra fitting and looked weird to my eyes.

I have seen Mahindra Scorpio grills on a couple regular buses in Navi Mumbai, look real odd with a miniscule grill. I wonder how the huge radiator is getting the air.
