Mini Cooper. The whole look has been "adapted" from the new Mini. Lots of people try and do that with the Swift. That's fine, it looks nice. But putting a Mini badge on it makes it look like you're trying too hard to be a Mini and takes away from the fact that the Swift is a good car by itself.

Ajay,

1) Love the taillamps - awesome.

2) Nice headlights too.

3) Liked the Body kit too

4) Nice Alloys too

But,

1) Why have you painted your rear drums red ????????

2) I didnt like the DVD screen in front

3) The blackening of the C-pillar doesnt appeal to me.

4) The Mini and Turbo badging just shout out too loud.

5) The 2 white stripes on the bonnet and the strips of white on side skirts - are a strict no-no for me.

To each his own I guess. btw is the GPS functioning flawlessy ? A short review on it would be welcome pal.

Cheers

Great work ajay. LED tail light is the best part and of course the GPS system. Try changing the spoiler if you can.

Very commendable effort. However I do feel that it is a bit excessive, especially the "mini" and "turbo" badges.

The way I feel about badging, unless it's a mini, dont put a mini badge on it.. ditto for the turbo.. unless you have a turbocharged engine its just sad to put a "turbo" badge on the car.

Painted drum brakes are quite funny.. any car that has drum brakes in this day and age shouldn't go around advertising the fact.

The headlights and tail-lights are very nice. Are the HIDs installed in a projector set-up or into the original reflectors?

Totally agree with the pros and cons(1 to 4).

Painting the "calliper" red or even orangish yellow sometimes seems genuine. But painting the "drums" is a defenite no-no. It just doesnt look genuine and completely goes against the ethics in my opinion...

Overall, the car looks neat. The white strips below the front grill arent looking that attractive from the pic. The turbo name is not doing any good also. Just my opinion..

Since the title has caught the attention of so many people which is misleading, wouldnt it be more suitable if the thread were renamed to something like " My Mini Swift - Wadhwa Ajay'

Don't worry about all the cribbing here. Your car looks great for you, right? That's it. What more can one ask for?

And as friends, we tend to always shout out what we like and dislike. Just blah blahs, you know!
Maybe you can think of giving it a look when you mod your next car.

Forget it and enjoy the car for now dude.

The thread title as said earlier, is quite a bit misleading. But again, it's the way we think. That's all.

Ajay dude need info on screen. Please let me know about it.

And i agree with Jesal and Speedzak. Everyone has its own opinion. My opinion on modding a car is "keep the originality of the car" and everyone has different views on modifications.

HIDS are on original refectors as they are low beam only

Its a chinese make, just like a motoriesd screen avialable in market for 15k but mine is manual as automatic doesnt work for long... and best part is i can tilt the screen to left or right and whn not in use it can be set back inside and gives a look of music system only.
If u ask me about sourcing this here... its not avble u can get that motorised one... btw I bought this in China for 8k
