Arrow Best Paint booth in CHENNAI

Hey guys,
I was thinking of repainting my S10 to another colour. Got bored with the bright yellow. Could any of you guys in chennai suggest me the best place here to get this done. No extra bodywork or modifications, just a neat shiny repaint .

Colour suggestions are most welcome. View my pic gallery to get your imagination running .

I was told 25k at one place for a metallic finish and i think its way too much. Please let me know if these are the normal rates here.

Have you checked up with Car Park 1817 in Ambattur Indl Estate ? I have given my Esteem and my inlaws' Bolero twice and he has done a good job. He is a bit expensive I should say but you can bargain before you give the vehicle. This place is near the Ambattur Rotary Hospital and is bang opposite Perot Systems. Do PM me if interested and I can give you further details.

Your car looks great as it is. But if you want a change for the sake of it, then I'm thinking a metallic blue-grey (the Swift colour) with your existing white stripe, or the bright blue (again from the Swift) with your broad stripe in a dark charcoal grey would look great.

Here's some colour options (sorry about the lousy quality - was pressed for time)

Nice job there Elf!!

16v - If the guy who quoted you 25k is going to do work as good as OE then 25k is pretty reasonable. And he's quoted you just for the repaint right, no bodywork needed on the car I think? Make sure of the quality of the garage's paint jobs by insisting on having a look at some repainted cars done by them some time back & also jobs in hand.

Thanks a lot ELF. I really appreciate your help and your talent . What i had in mind before was like a deep gun meatallic silver, through out, no stripes.
Let me enquire some local places here again and i will let you guys know.

Once again, calling out for help!! Any more chennai paint shops that i should check out?

@16v100bhp: A gun-metallic silver would be pretty close to the bottom left vehicle which I've shown. Not a bad choice, but the paint quality & finish would have to be exemplary to stop it looking the same as the flat dark grey that comes from Fiat themselves.

Though not ordinarily one for body striping, I think it would look absolutely fantastic with a thick white stripe like the one you have currently. The same stripe in a bright Ferrari red (original Honda City Type 1 EXi-S red) would also look great on the gun metallic silver.

You could try & contact Sideways via PM for some good paint booths in Chennai.

Ahmed,

I've heard Swamy Automobiles on Casa Major Road (diagonally opp. Don Bosco school) does a great job. Its an MRF autocoat authorized paint booth and has some amazing shades on offer. Dont know how much they cost though....my guess is it should be within your budget

try checking....

cheers

@16v100bhp: Whatever you do, make sure you check out the facilities & quality of work for yourself before giving in your baby.

Also check the brand of paint that the shop uses. The best option would be to go in for ICI Auto Colour - 2K. Same goes for the lacquer and other stuff too..Also inspect their painting booth

No offense, fb1, but I think that a black Palio with a broad white stripe would look too harsh. 16v100bhp's choice of gun-metal silver would look fabulous. I also love the light silver / white stripe combination (second option above) a lot.

That would look great. Even white, instead of black on the alloys would look fabulous.
