Perfect choice of red, and looks especially hot with the chrome lettering. Ditto for the black wheel finish. Paint or powder coating?

Hi,

The rims are painted matt black, whilst the valve cover is brand new powder coated Type R cover.

What material is that? Some sort of coating?

I am absolutely new to this, and forgive me if my question is silly, but is the diameter supposed to be parallel, or is it just enough to be adequately wide and smooth inside?

Hi,

Its a High Density PE mix which is mirror smooth inside and lightweight. There is no thumb rule as such that the diameter has to be the same throught. This is a design that will offer a larger volume of air to be pushed in with greater velocity. Will help in improving the top end power. The filter has a 4.5" diameter mouth.

Amazing stuff Viperjee! The valve cover looks HOT. The whole car looks HOT! Understated elegance at its best! You must be embarrassing quite a few "bigger" cars.

The valvecover looks super!
The car looks a lot more menacing with the black wheels...

Have you switched out the seats and gearshifter yet ?

Rehaan,

Thanks for the comments. Decided not to remove the seats but infact did some alterations to the seat base to lower the height which has turned out well. Short shifter was removed ages ago. i think the very next day after you left.

good choice of black rims!!

Jignesh just post all the pics that u have..
I'll have one of each of those thingies
This looks even more serious now .. cool.
I was thinking you were talking about "intake manifold" when u mentioned "intake" , I thought u were deciding between upgraded "intake manifold" or "ITB".

Now we have the real hardware.. Jignesh hows the engine doing ?
Whenever u are done with it, it would be interesting to see ur torque as all the B series charts I have seen were aiming for powerbands in the upper range. This will be a new one for me.
