Ishaan,

The additional power gain is due to many factors such as Vtec working now, higher boost, ECU, larger injectors etc etc. Can't attribute it to any one factor.

Hi,

Yes, its a chipped Honda ecu that I use on all Honda's (tried n test on some other marques as well), I use a Realtime emulator with map tracing and data logging for Honda tuning be it OBD1, OBD2A or OBD2B. In my experience no other (Cheap) ECU have given the streetability as this has. We have to stick to our motto of "Street Friendly, Race Ready"

Cheers

Hi Zakie,

My colleague is currently planning to buy a new ecu for the vtec, what ecu's available in the market can in your opinion be rated as "cheap" ecu & what gains does your ecu/chip give over a standalone system.

@Jiggy bhai! How much boost have you increased since your last setup! One of my office colleague has been following your thread (a silent member). He doesn't know much about boost and stuff like that (not that I am a champion) , but looking at the dyno graph, I am sure that you have up'd the boost pretty much, he's gone mad and has been after my life to have his OHC pimped.

Please help me on this one, so that I can suggest him where to go and what all he needs to do also to give him some idea as to what boost he needs to run to have a realtively good setup (since his being a SOHC and your's a DOHC

heers,
Shrey

Hi Shrey,

Let me put it this way. I've upped it to what the stock block can handle safely and is practical & reliable for daily driving. You have plenty of experts in Banglore who will guide your friend in the right direction and help him with is build. Would suggest you contact Keshav as different tuners/people have different ideas of whats relatively safe and reliable.

@ Mura - The stock car was 134 Whp or 160 Bhp and it is now 230 Whp or approx 275 Bhp.

@ Akshay1234 - Let me first get used to this power. Its too scary. I dont even go upto say 7000 Rpm at present.
Holy Crap!!!!!!! Mind-boggling dyno figure....I can only imagine what your OHC is to drive with those horses. I think your car is finally close to how you may have envisioned it to be, at the start of the engine swap (or over?). I have only heard rumours of other Hondas and their HP figures, but this is the first time we are actually seeing a dyno printout of an OHC with >250 BHP. Is yours officially the most powerful OHC in India now? What kind of 0 - 100 or 1/4 mile numbers are you expecting?

Some further fine-tuning and you should be all set to storm the speedruns.
