Viper's engine swapped B16A2 OHC - Now Turbo Charged!! - Team-BHP

Hi Guys,

I had sold my Getz and finally ended up buying a OHC Vtec even though I wanted a Baleno. After hunting around for almost a month with no success in finding a Baleno I got a call one morning from a friend who said he knew someone who wanted to sell a Vtec and if I would be interested in checking out the car.

I had one look at the car went for a small spin and paid him a token on the spot. I toolk delivery on the 19th morning just before I left for Goa and returned on the 26th evening. I got a chance to actually drive the car just yesterday and got busy installing stuff. Will give details below. Car is Sept 2002 Heather Mist in colour with 42k on the Odometer.

Existing Mods:

1> 15" Hijoin Alloys in black colour shod with Goodyear Eagle F1 205/50/15(50% life left)

2> Honda OE Sports type body kit(no spoiler)

3> Elevo Carbon Fibre/Leather Steering Wheel and Gear Knob

4> Front Strut Brace

5> Short Shifter

6> Digital Tacho and 2 stage Shift Light

7> Ported/Polished Cylinder Head

Already Installed

1> My existing ICE setup from the Getz details as below:

Head Unit - Alpine CDA-9835
Front Speakers - JBL GTO 607 (6.5" Components)
Rear Speakers - Hertz ECX 165.2 (2 Way Co axials)
Subwoofer - Hertz ES 300(12") mounted on Rear Tray
Amplifier - Audison SRx5 (5 channel 60x4WRMS + 1x180WRMS)
RCA Cables - Audison - BT6600
Speaker Cable - Audison FL214BL
Amplifier Power Kit - Audison FPK 300
Weurth Damping Sheets extensively used all over

2> Rear Strut Brace

3> Max Speed 9mm Spark Plug Wires

4> OWS Iridium Plugs

Will be Installed on Monday 29th Jan 07

1> Custom designed Free Flow Exhaust

2> Mobil 1 Oil

3> Ractive SF 100 Conical filter with Custom SS Intake Pipe

4> Vtec & AF Controller

5> Fuel Pressure Regulator

Thats all for the coming week. Will post pics in a day or two. Will be redoing the interior on Wednesday as have given the order for the seat covers to be made.

How are you doing man . You bet it was lucky for me

. Anyways have put the incident behind me. You can take a ride whenever you want man. The modding will take a while to get over as there is plenty of more stuff I intend doing prior to the Speed Run which I intend participating in.

Hi Mclaren1885 - Pro stock only man, no FI for me. Other Mods would include Stand Alone ECM( Hondata) & Individual Throttle Bodies & High Lift Cams for the time being.
