Sankar : In your pic, is the bike on an uneven ground. I'm asking this because your rear wheel is in the air. Both tyres of V12's bike touch the ground when its on main stand.

Pics of 1st coat of paint on the engine:

The clutch casing would be painted matt black.

Obsessed with cleanliness : Even though theres not much left to polish in the bike, its still washed. The chasis was dirty with muck and oil. Has been cleaned and polished now.

The engine has been fitted back. The clutch casing is still unfinished. It would be painted matt black. Fitting / Removal of the engine from a bike is really a painful thing to watch. The complete bike is opened up and all your parts are scattered here and there. There's a huge risk of mechanics dropping nuts, bolts, spanners on these parts especially the tank when its just lying around. Looking at the mechanic hammering a nut with a huge hammer could literally really give you heart attacks. There was lot of nut-banging done, however it was ensured that no parts were damaged or scratched.

That's because the main stand has longer legs which is to be used with the longer front forks. When i changed the forks back to stock length i didn't change the main stand and that's why the rear wheel's in the air.

dimali-1 suggestion dude, why dont you go for a simpler looking font for the number and avoid the red line on the centre of the number board.the same fonts used in the front number board is better.otherwise an awesome bike.....

Point taken, am unhappy with the rear plate. Had to get it in a hurry as the rear plate fell off. I'm looking to do a security type plate both front and rear. Also the front mudguard needs some work.

On another note, the 500 that I'm working on will feature a see-through look with the battery, coil etc in the tool box and the subframe from the T'bird at the rear. It's still a few weeks away from completion and will post pics later

Gordon, the caff bike looks awesome! The AVL cylinder and head is quite tall, perhaps a little black on the flat edge of the fins to offset the shiny bits like your clutch casing?

Cheers

Very neat! My compliments.

OT: Are these 2 different bikes or has the bike been re-registered in MH?

Default Update as on 17th March

Got a call from the seat-guy that the metal base for the new seat is ready and we could check it out. It turned out that the fabricated base was longer than the original seat and would need some cutting and shaping. The shape would be very much similar to the Goldstar seat. The seat should be completed by tomorrow but would be fitted only once all the other work is done.

Some pics to keep eveyone updated :

The fabricated base as compared to the original seat.

The base is long enough to make the Machismo a 3-seater

Taking measurements to get the base-metal into shape.

The Machismo with a proper "impractical" Cafe-Racer seat.

No its the same bike. The KA plates were just used to see how the plate would look on the bike.

Hi guys, the updates are back. The work was delayed since the seat took a long time to be made. The seat is now ready. And its come out well. Compare this seat with the Goldstar one and you can hardly see the difference. Had originally thought about the white piping on the border but after putting it it didnt look good. So had it removed.

Comments and suggestions are welcome. Enjoy the pics :

The 3.5 Ceat tyres are no longer available. Could anyone suggest an alternate brand of wider tyres for the Enfield (Price, size and location). Thanks.
