The handlebar and exhaust have been given for chrome plating to someone in Jogeshwari. 200 bucks each. Will be getting them on Wednesday. Will post pics once done.

Pics of the handlebar and the exhaust. The chrome work done by this guy is really excellent.

As all projects end up with a new name for the new look, the same goes here. A name and logo has been chosen for V12's Machismo. The Machismo stickers would most probably be removed and replaced by the new one.

A pic of the painted rear mudguard. There would be a golden strip running across the mudguards border. Actually we were thinking of a center twin stripe along with the name in very thin font. But there isnt any space to write the name.

More updates :

The mudguard has been fitted and it really looks good. The BSA light along with the pilot light below the number plate gives a classic look. The BSA light backunit has been left as it is (and not painted black as decided earlier), It looks much better this way. The pilot lamp at the rear is fitted with a yellow bulb since I wasnt getting a red one. Anyways looks good with yellow light.
The front mudguard will not be fitted now. Will wait for the monsoons to get over.
The rear side guards have been removed.
As expected, the fitting of the silnencer posed a problem. It touches the axle nut. Will be checking and fitting these tomorrow.
The "grip's" made on the handlebar had widened the handlebar a bit, so they had to be grinded off.

More updates tomorrow......

Looks like its only me posting here.

Anyways more updates :

Here's a pic of the bike with the handlebar / BSA light / painted mudguard fitted. Am posting only half pic to keep the excitement on. The full pics only when everything's fitted.

Will be getting the HP filter's today.

The BSA light is looking very good. What about rear turn indicators?

What did you do with the rear frame? Is it aligned with the mudguard now?

Correction. The mudguard is aligned with the frame. We had to hammer it into proper shape.

Success : The Goldstar silencer is back on the bike. Its leans outwards and the supporting bracket was cut to raise the silencer.

I had a look at this bike recently....trust me, it looks fabulous! Not only because of the mods, but also due to the way that V12 / Gordon maintain their machines. Simply and impeccably clean.

Thanks GTO.

More Updates : We're making a tax disc holder. Just trying to design something on Photoshop as to what should be in it. Will put it up once its done.
The mirrors have been removed since they were hardly of any use. It looks better without the mirrors but dangerous too.
The footpegs had to be raised a bit higher to accomodate the silencer. See the difference in the height between the original silencer and the raised one.

Had to do some other regular work on the bike too :
The rear brake pedal used to be jammed when depressed. So the rear wheel had to be opened up and new shoes had to be put in. The front wheel bearings too had to be changed.

Rear lights/mudguard - This is our unique design. It looks VERY good in the night. A close up pic:

We are now in the process of fabricating another rear mudguard with a different design to be used on a friends Electra. It will be used without shortening the frame. Will do away with the hideous boxy number-plate and oversize taillight. Lets wait and watch the design.
