drjumbo, how much did you pay for the 3-spoke alloys? And the tyres, are they R12s or R13s?

I think Bosch also has similar lighting products(like diamond vison-at least their website proclaims as much) available in the retail market.
I have a bosch dedicated guy near my place, will be going to him over the weekend to check out his products.
I mean, beats going to a car mart hoping to buy one thing, and getting conned by them into buying an alternative product.

If it (Astar/ Ritz tacho) can be done within reasonable price limit, will be the best tacho set up for any non tacho maruti.

I read in this thread that A star tacho work on inputs from ECU and not a electric tachometer but as the authorised person is confirming about fitment possibility then it should be an electrical rev-counter.

according to you to fit an a-star tacho one has to pair it with the ecu-then it shouldnt be a problem in my 800 or any other fuel injected one-the all have ECUs.anyways i'll still conform.meanwhile you also keep looking and do update as soon you find something good-all the best

Could anyone confirm what aircon gas was used in the M800 5 speed. I searched the manual but no mention of the type of gas(R12/R134/?).

Is this what you're looking for? The picture is of my 2001 model 5-speed M800. It shows R12.

Yes exactly. Thank you Jose. I'm not sure if that sticker is OE. I vaguely remember reading something like "Use R??? gas only".

As far as I know, 5speed M800s use only R12 gas for aircons, Both my M800 5speed and my friend's M800 5 spped use R12. mine is a 2001 model and he has 2002/03 model.

Speaking about MODDING, I upgraded my audio system recently, Threw my useless sony headunit and replced it with a pioneer 5290, added, JBL 6" comps on the front, Scosche e2 wiring and RC cables. A rockford fosgate 500watt monoblock, Tsunami digital power distribution block are on it way. They should be here by this month end.

Dear kingofmyworld, please post pictures of the 6" component installation. Where did you fix it in the front?

What about the rear speakers? Is it in the boot? I've 6*9 speakers at my rear boot and the hydraulic support is not strong enough to hold the door in raised position. Trying in vain to find a solution for this.

Thanks,
Jose.
