Aha..

The alloys and crom plated lamps does'nt go with the overall jeep looks though.

i totally agree with you chanapli,it doesnt go with the jeeps looks, pls dont ruin a classic vehicle like this.1. changing round lights to square 2.putting mag wheels which doesnt blend, whats that funny drawing on the bumper??

I second that... Alloys like this dont go with Jeeps. However the spoked wheels like in the MM Classic would look classy and elegant. The kinda wheels on this jeep would suit a gypsy IMHO.

@Overdose14, the jeep is simply hot but those alloys there a big NO NO !!..

Dont you think that those alloys is an overdose (no offense meant) to that beauty ?
Also do I see only one jeep or have my eyes gone bling bling.. Coz the title says two jeeps?

Aren't these modified Mahindras? These are not Willy's Jeeps.

Just check out the steering wheels and the fact that they are Right hand drive prove my point.

And these jeeps were featured on Zee News. They are from Ludhiana right??

So apart from the alloys, they deserve a lot of appreciation since they are so realistically detailed.

Default really cool

The jeeps look awesome, very nicely done details. the wheels look good but they would look much much better if you could get the chrome off them, the chrome is making the wheels look odd.Get them powder coated black or paint them camofladge like the body. Dont change the wheels they really look cool. Change the colour and you will see what a difference it wiil make. It will give it a rugged look.

Great jeeps but sorry bud, no mags on jeeps, at least not these, also no square lights a la wrangler and thirdly why is there a Toyota hood ornament on one of them when every thing (even the square lights ) scream Willy's?

aren't they hot. yes these are from Ludhiana (pics were taken in my college ) and my city is full of them( 30+ on my last count). one of them got mahindra chassis and custom build body. other one is original ( i think so because it had wired lookin instruments in it, which i had only seen in army vehicals). YES mag wheels are overdose and one got 295's with Toyota 3500cc engine imported from Dubai. we got two major city's (moga and dabali) where willy replicas or restoration can be done for as little as 2 lakhs (including the mag wheels and 275 mm tryes and all other stuff). engine can be orders as per your need and all have common saying "jinna gur unna mithaa" i.e. the more you spend the better.

Like the round headlamp one a lot better than the other. Also, like the others said, the chrome alloys kill the look - matte black or a darker shade than body coloured would look great. Also need to lose some of those crappy stickers, hood ornaments, etc. from the body.

Otherwise, sweet. Very sweet.

Ludhiana is the hub of super-rich in North India & I think these kind of mods are quite routine there! And the saying is very true too!
