Exclamation Esteem Mpfi engine for Indica

Guyz can anyone suggest that can a engine of esteem MPFI can be transferred into an indica diesel with any alterations without changing the shape of the car? any alteration on chasis will be acceptable but not on exteriors of the car!!!

Dude i dont have any real good advice for you.

BUT!! Esteem MPFI to Indica?
Are you sure that you REALLY mean this?
My eyes are getting watery.
I just cant believe someone wants to convert a pocket rocket into a truck?!!!

Sorry.. but i don't have any more words to express my sentiments.

Maybe a good car modifier can help you out.
Maybe you should get in touch with Autopsyche.

My bad...

I read "transformed " instead of "transferred"

Sorry!!

Indica to Esteem makes sense.. I agree.

Actually the topic made me scared to hell "Esteem MPFI to Indica"

Don't you think it'll be better to transplant an Indica/Indigo petrol engine? The Esteem engine might fit but would need custom mountings, Esteen gearbox etc. Not worth it IMHO and don't know if anybody will be willing to do it also.

Even if the engine is fitted with the amount of body roll that car suffers on curves it will be even more dangerous than a Zen, besides not much weight also is saved, so what's the catch ? Why an Indica all of a sudden ?

or may be carlover's client wanted a car with a responsive engine and space, as he might already own an indica.

Yeah, thats what i was thinking. This whole exercise would cost anywhere between 1 L to 2 L. you could get a 2000/2001 MPFI Esteem for that price. I am not sure an Indica's shell is worth this.

Sir, It can be done at Mayapuri in Delhi buy yourself an esteem engine from an accidental & to be scrapped car. There are plenty of workshops there who handle customers like yourself. Isuzu diesel for your gypsy? this is the place, matador engine for an ambassador? you got it cost 1lac plus, (I don't whether the indica gearbos will work or you'll have to get the esteem gearbox as well) if you serious moolah there's tutu dhawan....
