Paint Job

Hey Guys first of all I apologise if this thread is in the wrong section.
Please transfer it to the correct section.
I seem to have an observation I don't know how many of you might have noticed.
The paint job of certain manufacturers are not up to the mark as compared to others.
Example I have noticed that Maruti cars do no seem to have good paint job on them if you compare them with for example Hyundai cars.
Hyundai cars have better fit & finish on them.Even if you take basic car from Hyundai like XING OR GETZ and compare it with Wagon R or SWIFT for that matter Hyundai is far better.
What are your opinion regarding this guys ??????

I will say, if you compare finish/paint job of Maruti 800 to any other manufacturers, you can easily see the difference but look at Swift..........Rocks................
BTW.........Which car do you have?

scalet fever- i agree with you,i am owning a baleno,compared to a hyundai paint job it really sucks.

On a comparitiive front, I find that the Lancer Paint Job is still one of most superior available, compared to ford which does have tendency to peel or crack in no time. Hyundai Accent Paint work is superior in the class..! Even Tata Has good Paint on its car's except they use lousy Finish for the Bumpers.Maruti Zen + Esteem had good paint, compared to an 800.

I guess The QA of Paint depends very much on the Price and Segment of the Car.
