Actually, I wasn't thinking of that colour at all, navin. Unless used for a show car, it would be darned difficult to touch up & maintain for a daily driver.

I was thinking of something more on the lines of the Simpson Red seen on Toyota Innovas & Limited Edition Corollas.

Almost had mine painted the same colour when I bought it.

Hi SRK,

I know the colour you are referring to more of a light Pistachio right. Anyways the effect you are refeering to is the same thing what I am looking for. It is called flip flop in the local garage lingo.

There are approx 8-9 natural Pearl colours where the same effect can be achieved for example Red/Pink when viewed under diff lighting conditions, Purple/ Dark Brown etc and of course the car in the 2nd pic by Blue Raven.

@Elf - i did not like either of the combinations you suggested, and as far as maintaing a flip flop goes its the costs almost the same to touch up as a pearl shade would maybe a few hundred more at the max.

Yes I am referring to that same colour..

But I dont know if black wheels will look good..I think they should go with the overall simple look..you plan to get..

Or the best colour would be silver..I know Its too common..But a good quality paint job..with black rims..and black tints will surely look good..

Are you planning for a Q car??

Hi,

Yes planning a Q car. The colour of rims can be changed keeping the new colour in mind if needed.

Am ideally not looking for a colour found on any of the Indian cars. My logic is if you are spending money on something make sure it is unique and stands out.

Not ideally into big spoilers and definitely no graphics or stickering except maybe my own company logo.

Ok So you need to paint the OHC in a colour that isnt present on any Indian car..

Also you want it to be a Q car..That is it should look kind of like a stock..

Hmmm...I cant think of anything yaar!!

Ok How about a Shiny Black paint... Black Tints..Black Interiors..
Huge Chrome multispoke wheels..A viper decal on the front windshield..
Ans Light pinstripe style graphics in chrome vinyl..( the graphics wont be very heavy just a small wave kind of think to give a good look to the car)

The aim would be make it look like A mean car..That doesnt look as if it will go fast but has road presence..
And Some Xenons/or white light fitted to it will add to the look..even the tailight can be blackened to make it look more mean..

If I had the money I would go for the above theme...Black and chrome nothing else..and yes loads of power..

Chal yaar I do need to get some sleep now!!

Jiggy, thy looking at an Octavia's silver with matt black for your wheels. The silver on the octavia is by far the best silver i have see on indian cars.
Suggestion two: mercedes benz E class "Tealite Blue" think its discontinued now. Even the S320 came in a similar or same colour. The s-350 i dont think .
Another option is the deep deep maroon, almost black on the S-class called "Amandine black"
The wheels have to be black only for the above colours.
Also worth tying is the greenish grey shade of the swift callled the "Euro Grey". for this the wheels have to be off white like the colour on the roof of a Mini.

for very un assuming street racer:
remove all skirtings and stuff, keep it looking stock and add a dark shade of grey metalic... no tints also
keep the wheels as it is

lil more agressive looks:
keep spolier and rear wind spoiler and go for dark metalic blue in pearl finish, blue somehow makes that car look good
wheels add a thin red lip

you can find lots of color ideas from House of Kolors. Have you considered the JDM Look? Clean and fast looking?
