sorry typo its the 265 its a 1955 engine tuff find also the 283 might do also they came with vette so that means time to search for accident cars they are chevy engines.

or even the falcon engine might do.its already done on a ambassador.

by the way the weight difference between all the SBC engines mentioned here are not that much. the all-iron engines weigh about 600 to 700 lbs which is 250-300 kg approximately.

Right.. the 265 came in the 1955 'Vette. With a four barrel carb output was ~180 bhp. This is an old engine and was in production for only two years. Might be difficult to procure. The 283 has a better chance of laying hands on since it was in production for 5 years and was also available with FI.

Straight 6 for a muscle car... IMO nothing but two 4 cylinder banks at a Vee angle would do.

I own a HM Contessa - 1991 model and want to know if I can install a MPFI system?

If yes, please let me know about the advantages and disadvantages.

What are you upto.Can we expect a long mod list after this?Anyways i think the 1800 ISZ can be MPFI ed.But why do you want it to be converted to mpfi?
