Pedders are supposed to be here in a week or so. Will have to find out.
Synthetic switch at 1000 kms.
Not been well of late (seasonal cough/cold/fever), so haven't put in too many miles. I plan to rectify that this wknd.

Jiggy did the performance part of the project. The cosmetic stuff and the other mechanical jobs were carried out in good old Cal by AV Designs.

@sam: thank you sir!
Im sure then it will be a scorcher. Ive had a recent ride in Jiggy/Viper's modded Vtec and boy, does she move. Do us all a favour, pl upload a video of your car when you start her up and rev her. Dont overdo the rev bit but nahi toh you know kya ho jata hai. Take care of your health and your Phoenix. Beautiful name tough....Phoenix, I love it!!

Revving and all will happen after the running-in is done. Hard to stay patient for so long!
I've taken a ride in Jiggy's Vtec too. Let's hope Phoenix can move at a similar pace. She's shown some promise... but of course, I've had to cut things short at the 3000 RPM mark :(

As per my request, the FFE is not that loud (though it may draw some crowds near the red-line ). I think once I have the filter+intake in place, the sound will get more interesting! Phoenix deserves a throaty growl and not a purr!!

After many gentle (and some not so gentle ) reminders from Razor, finally found time to upload higher resolution pics of the Phoenix:-

Phoenix

Some of the pics are a little grainy inspite of the better photo quality. I guess its because there was so much dust when we were shooting. Anyhow, these are definitely better than the one's I had uploaded earlier.

I've also activated the "Download Photo" link on picasa, as requested by BUSA.

Cheers,
Wim

Lol... I have an Excel sheet, with a break-up right down to the last spare part. Will suitably condense the details and put up some figures soon.

Couple of other things I had in mind:
1. A sort of a 'lessons learnt' from this project, and my take on the whole process.
2. Some before and after pics of the car. Have already begun Photoshopping the same.

Work's been killing... hardly have time to breathe nowadays! But will take these up soon!

@Wim: Thanks for the pics buddy! Much appreciated

Hopefully the images aren't too big... didn't think thumbnails would do the trick for this post!
