Thanks Razor.

Well go for full damping if you are willing to shell out extra money or else just the speakers.

@Razor
If budget allows you, go for complete damping.

Hey Ported,

Was it packed properly. Did not get a chance to supervise the same due to the rains. Thanks for looking it up for me.

Well no, not really. I was a little busy paying attention to my friend's car. Though I trust you to have completely taken care of it yourself.

Besides, it wasn't raining anywhere. I made a trip from Kandivli, all the way to Walkeshwar, and nothing besides a slight drizzle. Nothing that would trouble your regular Mumbaikar, who is known to brave many floods.

Update:
Got a sample of the chrome-painted power window console from the workshop. I was very impressed by the finish - hardly recognizable as plastic!! This will be replicated for the AC vents in front, door handles/power window consoles all around and for a chrome ring around the gear lever, similar to the Swift.

The PP2's have arrived, but the rims have not. The bad weather has held up the road transport apparently. Will pick them up on Saturday.
The engine, FFE and intake pipe have been picked up from Mumbai and should reach early next week.
I'm a little worried about further delays due to inclement weather conditions. Hoping for the best...

Hey guys... not too many updates thanks to the weather
All road transportation is delayed, hence my schedule is getting pushed back!!

There are 3 shipments that are due - all expected early next week:
Engine+FFE+intake (in transit from Mumbai), Pedders shock absorbers and alloy rims.

Meanwhile, the body work is pretty much complete - waiting to fit the engine, followed by the other mechanical jobs. Then ICE and painting.

The only thing I got to see this weekend were the Michelin PP2 tyres. They looked pretty cool, and the stock tyres were looking skinny next to the 205's!

Here are some pics:

Once the engine comes in, the refitting part can immediately get underway. I am waiting IMPATIENTLY for that!
