After going through lot of threads on fuel efficiency I cam e to know that if we drives our car in Top gear with 60/70 km /hr then we will get best fuel efficiency, I have a query on the same, Say I am cruzing in Top gear with 60/70 km /hr and there is a traffic due to which I have reduce my speed to 20 km then shd I change my gear to 2nd or 3rd , or shd I keep my car in top gear and then acceralate it and bring to 60 km to get best FE ? ( I drives my car in Mumbai City)
Plz advice

Thx in advance,

Hi Nicejits,

There are several several threads on verrry similar topics.

Please do search a little, and post your query in the best suited thread.

Also, do look at the "gear change" type threads in the technical stuff section.

Heres a good place to start reading as well > http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/owning...fficiency.html (ARTICLE: How to get the maximum Fuel Efficiency)
