Default Seat belts for Maruti 800

I have a 93 model maruti 800 standard. Is it possible to fit front seat belts for the car. If so , where can I get it done and how much would it cost me?.

Cool Possible

The 800 comes with provisions to fit seatbelts alteast at the front . You can see the black rubber fillers on the B pillars at the top to fill the hole for the belt . Any maruti service will do it for you . They come in kits of 2 and 4 . Probably from 1000 to 1500 for 2 . Rear ones to fit is a little difficule as it will involve drilling holes into the body at 2 points per belt .

yes, its possible. but get them fitted from an authorised maruti workshop. makeshift seatbelts are cheaper, but will do no good in case of an accident.

I am thinking of buying a '93 800 as a city runabout and want to fit front and rear seatbelts.

Did you successfully do it in your car (especially the rear ones) and how much did it cost overall?
