Glowing number plates - Team-BHP

People I have got these number plates bolted on my ride, they are having White LED's which makes the whole number plate glow white in night..Man it looks too god when seen live.In pics they are looking ok but not sooo good as what they look in live..

Is that a LED tube on top of the number plate ? or the Plate is backlite using LEDS ?????

And why would u want ur number plate flashin so brightly

hey, thats kool, let us know where you got it done and how much it costed. I am interested in similar ones for my rides too.

Those are white LEDs that fit into OEM slots costing app 150 each.

He is a law abiding citizen, wants to help cops note down the number in a hit-and-run case!

No these are not raplacement to OEM fittings. These plates have LED tube fitted onto them on the top which makes it glow,it cost 1200 for a pair in delhi and their are only few people making these plates. And fellow bhpians I never break laws so cops wont bother to write down my number for anything....Decent driving is the best for me....

Do you think cops trouble you only when you break the law.... Havent you been sent a false challan or stopped un-necessarily by a cop in Delhi.. I wont be surprised if the cops catch you for having extra bright lights which are not authorized by RTO

these are regular acrylic number plates with white LED's fitted inside a small panel. This panel is fixed at the upper edge of the number plate. they here in Maharashtra for a long time now...have even seen them on two wheelers too....cost around 700-1000 bucks....

No i have never been challaned with false statements or anything (And hope never will a chance like this will come), ANyways zakaaaaaas is right, I have also seen once a bike having these number plates, but trust me people, they look awesome in night time.

1000-1200 bucks is alot for number plate...

But what I want to know is how are these plates fairing in the monsoons?

Still glowing or Kaput??

1200 is too much when you can get a pair for Rs. 130 - Rs. 250
