There's no replacement for displacement, engine swap is the way to go ! If you're going to bore, shave, & blow your engine, you might as well do it on the biggest engine you can get hold of !

Well, since I already have a high compression setup I am planning to have a go at NOS sometime soon. I have a kit lying at home, its about time I make use of it I guess. Though my final aim is always going turbo. And an engine swap is not an option for a baleno.

[FONT=Arial][SIZE=2]An engine swap for my Opel Corsa with a C20LET Corsa engine from UK (190bhp stock) or a 16valve ecotek Corsa engine from UK (145-150bhp stock). Throw in a high lift cam, forged pistons, Standalone ECU etc and then plonk in a turbo. Oh man, I'm going crazy.

PS: About the 16valve ecotek Corsa engine from UK, keep watching this space.

I don't think there are many supercharged cars in India done up by tuners. Those who want superchargers can vote for the Turbo option since I haven't made a provision. My aim is to find out how many people are ready to go turbo, NOS, NA or engine swap in India. What the trend is like.

havent voted still ..
Dont know much about mods .
But i think a engine swap from optra magnum to srv would be just too good.
does anybody know of any engine swap for opel astra diesel in indian market? i love the car but not enough power.

OHC with B16 DOHC vtec
lancer with 4G92 DOHC Mivec
wouldn't go for turbo immediately after swap... would let the car settle down before going for forced induction...

A reliable turbo setup would be ultimate for me, especially a hybrid turbo. Lag should be minimal, useable power, good enough for going to office and burning the tracks on weekends.

Turbo it is for me!! but n some cases a harmless swap like an E-zen/ B-ZEN/ B16 OHC can be irrestible!!
