Good (but reasonably priced) paint shops in Mumbai? - Team-BHP

Hi,

Ive bought a used Skoda RS which I intend to do up.

I'm looking at Pete's Phase 2 for power, but I also need to do it up in the exterior looks department.

I'm therefore looking for a good paint shop in Mumbai who would do justice to a Skoda and make it look like brand new (exteriors) after the paint job.

I request information on good (but reasonably priced) paint shops in Mumbai & would be thankful to receive suggestions & contact information.

Iv heard that RIO does some really good work, never actually been to him though.

There is one called Vasant Autoworks in Mulund on the LBS- Eastern Express Highway Link Road. Dont go on looks, believe me his finish is excellent. PM me for his number.

There is a shop named as AUSTIN in sion.

have seen the work. its the best in the city.

why dont u try AUSTIN.

its name is Dasmesh garage works ( near Dasmesh Gurdware )

A Skoda RS deserves either an authorised service station, or the best from the after-market. From the latter, I would only trust Pervez from Mazda Motors. I have seen (and heard about) his brilliance in paint jobs.

Check him out. His shop is behind 4 seasons at Tardeo. Maybe his famous polish job coupled with some paint touchup will be enough to get what you want. Instead of painting the entire car.

I purchase my paint from a small shop in Chembur. It is diagonally opposite the taximen's petrol pump (used to be the old Chhagan Mitha Chembur). The paint quality is excellent but go with a clear mind on what shade you want otherwise you can run into a bit of difficulty as the guys there are quite traditional in their approach.

Hi GTO

Ive tried Mazda & for paint, polish & Pervez has also fitted a Steinbauer power module on my car. His shop has a very select client base & whew !!some of the cars I saw there took my breath away. He uses a special Farecla brand of waterbased polish & the results have lasted on my car for over 6 months now.
The power chip on my car is close to 2.5 years old & Ive had nothing but pure pleasure from it
CHECK THIS GUY OUT HE IS A CAR FANATIC & DOES A GREAT JOB

he charged somewhere between 3-4K & yes the interios can be done I can remember exactly how much the whole deal cost I did this in Feb before Valentines.

Rs 4500 ..... and no he does not do interior work ....

and his ppl are very good ...

I would Like to know is there any good painter like Pandit & Co. in Mumbai...I need a Pearl Silver Coat in Interior as well as Exterior of my ZEN.Also what will be the expense on it..will it cross 10k..
