is warranty void on installing power window in swift Lxi??

Hello friends...have been reading this forum for months but have not posted much here.
I've booked swift Lxi white color.
But i want to add power windows to it and the dealer told me that it can be done easily for cost of 11k for both front and rear and (6,500/- for front only). Then, I asked him if the warranty will become void if i get it power windows installed in it. He says that no it would not be void and I give guarantee bla.. bla.. that it will not be void and no such issues.
Should i believe him and go on with my decision with Lxi with power window addon or there can be problem with warranty?

please provide your suggestions as it will be helpful for me to decide.

Warranty may get void in case you get the power windows fitted from outside shops.

In case dealer is willing to provide the warranty in writing from his end, that should not be a problem.

Well I'm planning to get it done at dealer itself. So I need to take that in writing from him that warranty shall not be void!

hey guys,
thats why maruti got MGA accesories and power windows comes as mga.strictly go for MGA accesories and ask for a bill from the dealer as a proof of purchase.thats it and your waranty wont be having any issues.

Warranty will not be void if fitting with the dealer.

AFAIK the warranty which dealer is talking if for the power windows & not for the car electricals. If you get it from outside even then that shop will give you warranty on the PWs.

Yeah but getting it done at dealers end will have less or no hassels than getting it from outside.

The warranty cannot be voided if you are using genuine parts and are getting it done from the dealer.
