nice !!

Just curious ..if you will be redesigning your header and ffe system after you put new cams ? You are running stock cams right ?
were your headers/FFE designed after you got the port and polish ..?

What was the dyno run like Gogi? Do you get to drive yourself? Does the driver make a difference? Is it kinda scary to see your car on the dyno and revving away?
Thanks mate.
The run lasted a few seconds maybe a minute or less.
Actually no. I didn't get to drive it, Karan gets to do all the fun stuff. Seriously I think its better to let the expert handle the stuff one is not aware of.
It feels weird at first but by then the whole thing is over.
I don't think the Weight of the driver makes a difference, something which Karan will have to clarify.

Thanks Chetan,
Ideally, one should redesign ones FFE and Headers when one goes in for wilder cams than stock but I think for the moment I've dropped the idea of a cam till I can get either a billetted grind or I get a cam with duration of 285. One can use an ECU to also give you the low end with the same FFE setup insted of again going in for headers. Yes at the moment I'm running stock cams.
Yes the FFE and headers were done after the porting and polishing.

Mpower,Thanks.
Yes, to the uninitiated, the presence of a huge fan would raise some queries

Ishan thanks.
As proclaimed and promised, you can see that I am answering questions

Man what u doing up at this time ? its 3:00 AM right ?
Ok.. cool
So a RD ECU will be going in I believe..
It would be great if u could put up some screenshots of the fuel/timing MAPs before and after you get the cams once the standalone is setup.
Would like to see this .. with the dyno chart
This thread is becoming very very interesting now, 5 star rating added from my side !!

Thanks Dragger and Chetan.
You are quite right about the specific spec Chetan.
What I found that a particular cam grinder was actually misleading everyone by giving a specific number to his grind which makes you think that it is the duration of the cam. I insisted on seeing proof in the face of a stamp or something concrete so i could satisfy myself, as you know, nothing comes cheap (refer to ford Rocam's signature) Also non performance of cars of a few friends and some team mates (all having the same spec cams from the same company), set me thinking that something was amiss. It was only when I saw the spec sheet of one such cam at a friends place that we all realised that it was an eyewash. All of us were shell shocked at the results.

No sweat buddy (actually it was Karan who put it on the forum).
Well it depends. In stop and go traffic yes, it is a pain but in regular city traffic its fine. It does not make it difficult but is tedious because the clutch is hard and the feel is heavy. But once you get used to it its a cinch.
