Default MM 540 build

this is the MM 540 that i built from the ground up.

the first few pics show the intial body and chassis what i bought for 9k.

1 the engine what i got for my jeep was the mahidra XD-3P engine.
the engine was completely ovehauled with new piston rings, compelte rework of the head, new nozzles and the pump was serviced at the bosch centre.

2 the engine is coupled to a 4+1, four wheel drive gearbox.the pressure plate and the clutch assembly was bought anew.

3 the seats are out of a contessa

4 wheel drive locking hubs were installed as well.

5 i had enough money left to buy only second hand tyres. so each tyre on my vehicle was a different brand.(michelin, good year, brdigestone)

there was no painting or tinkering work done on the jeep.
there are a few photos of the jeep with the work starting up. first the steering column and steering gearbox was mounted and the very nest thing was to first getting the jeep standing on four wheels. so the leaf springs and the differentials were mounted.then came the tyres and then the very heart of any vehicle.
th last few pics show the finished jeep. i am sorry i could not post the pics of each part of the build. i seem to have misplaced those photos.
hope you guys like it,.....

will post more pics tomorrow.
do pardon me if any mistakes have cropped up as this is my first thread.

A big congrats!! Great effort.
I like it because you're keeping it in it's original shape and look. What colour you're planning by the way?

Great Work Ninan.
Thats a nice High-Bonnet Willys CJ3b in your avatar. Please post some pictures of that as well.

On another note, are there many low bonnet jeeps in Mysore? Thinking of buying/restoring one in the future.

will definitely post some pics of that. the willys is in for some work so will post it when it gets done. low bonnets are hard to come by but do give me a ring when you are in mysore and i will try to find one for you.
