KART :- How about the bills? Do they overbill? Assume that I am giving a stock car for repairs like suspension overhaul, engine overhaul etc?

Would like to recommend them to a friend of mine as its near to my office..

Crap! FOUR of these monsters?! They should be doing a 14 sec run without too much trouble, what say Iceman?

Doesn't Shabbir have a 1.5 engined Zen, not a Vtec one?

Man, mclaren, you are certainly well connected in garage/mech circles!!!

For a H/V-Zen, the engine mounting is changed. Custom mounts are built. The position of the battery is totally different. Quite a bit of stuff is changed.

So Amudhan has one too, huh? Good stuff. Let's see if these guys bring it to the dragstrip.

I'm sure they dropped the D-15 along with the Honda gearbox. Another problem is that honda engines turn anti-clockwise, wont work with some other transmission.

I always felt that the Zen was pretty front heavy ! With these kilo-tonne engines up front, I expect that these guys need to put cement blocks in the boot to keep the rear wheels on the ground !

... and I have'nt even thought about what would happen when they slam the brakes... a stoppee in a car ... hahaha.. that would be outrageous !

Dude, the Esteem block is all-aluminium, as compared to the Zen. So I think it's actually slightly lighter. The same goes for the Honda 1.5 and Vtecs, which are essentially the same block.

Stoppies have occured in cars, it's well known. But then you need almost no weight at the rear, a very short wheelbase, and very sticky rubber. Best known stoppie mobiles are Mini Coopers.

@mustangman, if you want the indian mpfi setup, which is SOHC, you can do it by changing the head. For a DOHC, you will need to retrofit the 1.3 GTi head.
