Ah interesting. I saw a red Indica Xeta which had a wheelchair sticker on the reverse and a stick shifter like padmini, but way quicker to use. I was having trouble keeping up at 80ish

There used to be a Maruti 800 about 15 years ago near my place. The uncle who used to drive had some prob with his left leg/foot. He had installed a 50% bike handle near the gear stick. And his car was perfectly drivable with bike kinda hand clutch.

I guess the gears must also be controlled by it.
