YOu can Get those engine but most probably they ill be havin the auto transmission i have on nissan cecedric v6 engine but no transmission is available its a 170 bhp engine and one i am having s class v8 its all there and with a gearbox but its automatic

Quite a few V6's & V8's available...but application dependant, though. Not all V6's & V8's produce POWER. Most look pretty, but lose steam at 4000 RPM or thereabouts. Good for low end torque, most of these engines could be used for long-geared applications....

If you ask me, do not look at anything less than a MOPAR or a HEMI. For V8. Docile V6's need to be at least 3 litre; preferably Japanese....American V6's are S-L-O-W....

Primary question...for what use, buddy? Drags or daily driver?

Not like we have much of a choice here, ya know! And I've seen American V6 autos haul a 2 tonne car to 60 mph in under 10 seconds, so it's a little hard to generalise.

Hey, man, you are a Punjab guy so you should know, just down the road from you in Chandigarh you will find v-6s, v-8s and the people who can get you one. Can YOU find me a good used Mahindra mm550 down there?

how about importing a used engine from japan or china or any of the neighbouring countries? or maybe importing a v8 from the states? If you need engines in the states i can find them for you easily....i don't know what the duty situation is though....
