FFE for OHC in chennai?

Hi guys,
I have he following questions

1) Where can I get the FFE in chennai ?
2) What is the cost including fitment?
3) Can Automechs be custom made to increase low/mid end torque?
4) does automech make stainless steel endcan with dual tips.
5) Is there anyother brand other than Automech which is equally good?

I would prefer the sound to be a deep rumble kind of sound which is not too loud.

1. i will suggest to a FFE fabricated by Electra Performance welcomes you check out the linky.

2. depends whether you want it in SS or MS.

3. not sure whether Automech will customise for you.

4. yes - they do / also check out the various other brands in the market.

5. Electra Performance(chennai), Viper Performance (Mumbai), etc. In Bangy you can PM Psycho for his help.

Thanks for the quick reply guys. I talked to Jambulingam now. He quotes 12K for the automech with MS and chrome tip. Is the price reasonable? He said exhaust cannot be customized and they come only in one configuration. All that he says is that the overall power will increase.

Any idea how much it will cost in Electra. Im yet to contact Viper regarding this.

@navin - get a quote from both Viper and Electra. i guess since you are located in Chennai - sourcing it from chennai will be a good idea - you wont have to incur the shipping cost.

my car has ffe fabricated by electra performance (11.7k including shipping & taxes - labour was extra)

i think harmon_bro got it fabricated by electra as well.

Hey Planet Rocker- I spoke to Krupesh, he quoted me 15K for the setup which includes Chrome headers and SS mufflers. I didnt bargain much but wanted to ask you if yours were SS muffler or MS.

Chrome or SS headers - which one is better? are there any pros and cons?

The chrome could peel off after a while. Guys correct me if Iam wrong.

i had installed FFE of automech at chennai - their dealer is jambulingam as mentioned by some one above...

they offer only a SS tip and not a SS end can..but however , u can email them - contact person is vivek bhat - available in their website and chek with him whether he can customise ...

as far installation is concerned - i had a few problems at motor image ( jambulingam ) - but they all got sorted out later - just that motor image is not a out and out performance shop - they are just a car service center who have got the automech dealership also

it cost me around 12k if i remember right

Hi..you dont need Automech necessarily for the deep rumble sound..there are many guys who could do it for much less in Chennai..

Automech do customised FFE.I deal with Automech here in Trivandrum Kerala.Normally i asked for customised FFE depends on the customers preference.Even they do tailor made sounds.
