Thank you all for the kind words.
As Razor has pointed out, I'm still running on stock brakes. The Tarox pads are somehow fouling with my current alloys. I'm looking for stock vRS alloys.

@ Ibcool - Thanks man!

@ Snaronikar - I don't think theres a remap available for the Ikons. When I rip (which is nearly always), the petrol gauge does show some rapid progress towards the E mark!

@ Ricky_63 - My Falkens are coping well for the time being. But, I could be looking for a replacement in the near future.

@ Khanak - Next upgrade, budget permitting would be the suspension. FE when driven aggressively is scary! But in normal driving its pretty good. I did a tank full one day and the distance to empty reading was 400Kms. After a 100Kms drive (sedate driving, not going above 2.5k), the reading increased to 500Kms! And, what is too much power? lol! Am working on the video part. Need help of the Calcutta gang. Anyone listening?

@ Toiingg - Man, you missed the drive. Next time..

@ Akshay1234 - I had been ordered by Planet to click pictures of the whole process. But, in my excitement, I totally forgot to carry the camera. They'll be up soon. Again, need help of the Calcutta gang. I can't tell a camera from a mobile phone!

@ Nitrous - Thanks sir!

@ Gd1418 - Sirjee, thanks. I don't know if it would be appropriate to post the amount here. No offense, but I did get a TeamBHP discount from Peter. The MRP is in the region of 2.40. Hope you understand.

@ Razor & Vroooom - Hehe! I had a few b*&^% in the mouth moment when you guys were ripping!

Phase II is 230bhp,is it?
Then 230bhp turbo on a FWD should be chewing through tyres.
Keep rotating them ever 5000 kms. And they should see 15,000-20,000kms.

Its around 225Bhp. My tires have already seen 19000+ kms. Have done just about 1k after the remap. Hope they last a bit longer. Am totally drained financially.

@ Khanak -

Congrats Shuvo! I am sure you must be enjoying everybit of it.
Come to think of it, its just so sad our old city does not have the roads to do justice to such fast cars!

Drive safe! And do invite me to have a look

Cheers

Dhiman - Anytime my friend!

Hellspawn - Thanks dude. Its been a while since I got the mods done. I've driven the car around quite a bit. But, even I cannot imagine the effect. I mean its a revelation in every drive!

I take the car out late at night. Usually around 1 AM. Plus, there are quite a few clean stretches in the city. And, the Golden Quad is not too far away!

Oye.. you take the stock Octavia to 225 bhp and call it ' a few horses ' ????
Well it seems team-bhpians should have one signature in common : "we are like that only - more is never enough :d"

Awesome car nonetheless. Congratulations !!!

congrats shuvd for the mods, it is surely the most powerful car I have ever driven. Thanks for giving the opportunity to drive it. once the car starts moving everything else appears to become standstill, its an amazing experience...

Finally the report. Congratulations! Seems like I'm among the rare few yet to get a taste of the 'few' horses.
Having heard the sound, I'm convinced that ICE is a waste in the car. So when you decide to sell off the amp, do let me know
