for a good setup from a reputed tuner it would be 1.5l onwards.

Yes, you would be looking at 1.0 - 1.5 lacs (average) for a quality install from a knowledgeable tuner.

what car do you want to turbo charge? usually it's around 1.4 lacs for the installation, but if you know how to do it, you can do it for much less. I you get parts through ebay and other sites.

Well you could do it for about 40 if you did it yourself with scavenged parts, but no guarantees on how it will run as it will have no support for the ECU, fuelling etc. But the cost escalates as you look up for more reliable parts and more power.

Just because there is a photo in the garage section does not mean he is looking at turbo charging the same car.He did not even mention it's for his car..so it's a right question to ask, I have found turbo and intercooler set for as low as 40,000, on ebay. for a 1.3liter engine [including transportation].
there are new turbos available for 13000+ 7000 for intercooler for a diesel 1.4-1.8 liter engine in mumbai, and I have seen these being used on a petrol engine too.
