Xenos is good...& power windows umm...you can fit them provided if you frequently open the windows ...You would definitely get alloys for 10K --Auru & lot of taiwan makes...U can check out Lal at Lloyds road...FFE contact Shankar at Royapettah - 9840133797...K & N Conical & Universal is all the same in terms of performance & maintenance...Conical is just the shape and it helps in easy of fitment as some vehicles cannot take large round filters..Life depends on the way it is maintained & recharged based on the conditions the vehicle is driven...

Cheers

Default modding an alto

Hi,

Please do not go for Xenos power Windows. I fixed it one year back in my M800, now my Upmodular does not work and the service guy says that the warranty is void and hence I need to pay for it. again the switches are too poor in quality that they often fail and I will have to run in search of a Xenos service guy. Instead AutoCop i feel better as even after 6 years my central locking works fine.

My suggesstion is betterto have manual window instead of power windows.

hi.. i too have a 2007 alto lxi 800cc.. i have the foll mods.. k&n replacement filter.. around 2.6k, automech full ffe 5.5k, entry level ICE, internally adjustable mirrors (both sides)(2.4k for the set) and a bi xenon hid kit (11k) .. im very happy with the car, although the ffe sound has increased with time. the HID kit is superb and since i drive a lot in the nite, pretty useful as well. only wish they dint trouble oncoming traffic. i know a lot of ppl at my service centre who assure me that they would not let anything void my warranty, and since most of it (except HIDS) was done way before the car was even 6 months old, i trust their word.
i plan to make my car a complete sleeper, so as of now wheels are out. planning to get a good port, polish , shave job for my head (rs10k), and also plan to get a conical filter(if i find a space good enough to fit it). i also had a serious question:
if i have a bike nitrous kit (single solenoid and single injector) and if i connect on the pipe between the filter and the ecu, will it help in any way? as i was planning to do that as well.
thanks

all sony . if at all u want sony just stick to the HU.(Pio HU are better in terms of SQ). rest all sucks. believe me i have used them. Go for JBL GTO 937 at rears if u want VFM. go for a powerful JBL/Pioneer/Kenwood Amp. browse for ICE section. i am sure the ICE bug will bite you. Go for JBL/Ground Zero subwoofer.

THE FFE should be well tuned. for alto its better to go for low and mid range power. this should give u a lot of difference.

depends on the quality of work done for FFE and the type of filter u use. the hike should be around 5 bhp

aura doesnt have contempary designs. plati has a wide range of designs. the other brands like HR,NEO, OZ are also available.
but for an alto if u go for 13" alloys and 5.5J width then they will surely scrap your wheel arcs. u need to either bend the wheel arcs or go for spacers. the options of 13" and 5J are very less in market. they wont scrap. or else if you are ok with 12" there is no problem at all.
also one more option u can look at is 13" 5.5J with low profile tyres.
