Awesome project. The lights look really amazing on the Santro. I'm so impressed I wanna do it on my Santro Xing as well. Yayati - could you please put up the details such as :-

1) Where did you order the lights from?
2) Do you need to make any mods to the electricals, such as add relays etc... or does it fit in just like the normal headlights?
3) Detailed procedure of the DIY project
4) Total cost of the entire project

cheers!!!

Correct way of posting a head light in action would be, inside view from the car. Ideally in a dark location, straight road, open ground. Front shots will just show lot of glare.

Awesome install, hope its focused to save other road users inconvenience

Hi Yayaati, very nice work - DIY always is

Do you see a significant difference between the original halogens & the new HIDs in terms of improvement in visibility ?

There were a lot of posts in the HID thread (Swift Aftermarket Projector Headlamps : Reviews needed) regarding poor visibility in rain, are you having the same issue too ?

From what I understand visibility in rains is limited due to the colour temperature (6000k - 8000k etc).

But some say that with 6000k in the stock assembly visibility in rains is also there. Not sure about that.

nice setup there buddy. how did you manage clean opening of the headlight transparent cover? where can i source projectors for baleno? does it cone with the lamp or seperately?
i dont want high temperature colour, actually prefer more yellowish than blue and violet. have do to something about my headlights before the rain starts.
