Default my baleno's story (tc)(pycd)

Hi all

Well I know I am not very good at writing reviews

Caution-you may be breathless after reading it so please go slow

Well it started with team bhp yes well i cam to know about this site from club baleno
And was looking for some mods for my 06 black baleno
Actually i was looking for headers and some performance parts

And then met some fellow team members (tarul and binz)well i was shocked to see these guys
And the kind of knowledge about the technicality they have since they are just 1pu going kids

Well any ways I learned a lot from them and they introduced a very well know figure from the forum "psycho" well it was on the eve of the speed run 08
didn’t get time to discuss with him the mods i was looking for although saw him in action(talking about turbo and all that)well to be very honest it every word he said just flew over my head...how ever was just nodding my head as if I understood.

Then I met v1p3r well people who know him will know what this guy is all about
Chatterbox may not be the right word however I am sure I am pretty close

And then i attended my first meet met torque guru and jay z well amazingly nice people

And then i started my regular visits to the garage SAG owned by vasu anna
Saw his work one word amazing and saw vikrams car come together there
Took a test ride as well(ride means was sitting in the passenger seat)
Was too dam fast we tried a small drag with tg's cedia and guess what the swift smoked it

I was quite impressed with the car and the tuner
And was thinking about some serious mods now not the turbo though
Since I earn my own living so arranging money for this kind of a job was a little problematic for me

And then finally the day came and I took a test ride in psycho's esteem
Man it was one of the most amazing moments of my life

I have sat in a supped up supra and ya it was fast but a car like an esteem
As fast as a modded supra I couldn’t believe it although I had experienced it my self

I was shaken lit a cigarette and hands started shaking

The car was like a jet that was the first time in my life I was forced by my self to wear a seat belt.

I felt my heart filled with fear however I felt the need of a same or something similar in my life.

And after some googling and surfing a understood what a turbo was
Though psycho when ever i met him tried putting the stuff in my head
It never did because of the level and i wasn’t up to it.

Finally after a lot of thinking mostly of the funds and discussions with my better half
Who was also a convinced with my ideas decided to get my very own turbo.

And left the car in psycho's experienced hands

For almost two months some times cause of the parts and some times because of insufficient funds

However after longing for almost 2 months I did got the car back and I was excited
To get the feel of a turbo car since it was my very first experience of driving a turbo car.

In the mean while let me be honest here while the work was being done I was double minded about the mod thinking whether it is worth spending so much for just a mod

How ever when I got the car and started the engine and took it for a spin my thoughts changed instantly the only thing I that came to my mind was “it’s worth every penny”

Initially while the work was going on I had changed the tires and so when the car was ready I had totally bald tires so we did a few test runs on it and I could smell the burning smell of the tires and man it was sweet and then got my old rims and tiers back

Which are only 10k used tiers and the car spins on the 3rd gear on these as well.

Got it on Sunday morning the whole day was filled with joy and fun for me

Took down so many cars that I can’t even remember just remember a couple of cars and looks on the faces of the people who owned them. Looking at them made my heart fill with joy and satisfaction .

Cars included: civics, lancers, corollas, v-tecs and Vrs’s and many more image I drove approximately 400 kms only in the city

Ffe has not decreased much cars still giving me close to 12-13kmpl so not bad
And it’s running on 6psi of boost I had asked psycho to keep the boost at 8psi
How ever my request for 2 reasons
1st-I am an amateur
2nd-the car is completely stock (he feared blowing up the engine with that kind of boost)

How ever after driving it at 6psi of boost I was more than satisfied

The car is simply flying and my friends have started calling me Mr. Turbo

Apart from my better half and a few team bhp members no one had the guts to sit with me driving the car

I feel like a devil in the devils ride

Well that’s it for now I hope you yours still breathing...Hehehe.

Regards
Alias

NICE...Turbo baleno, What are your 0-100 timings? Done anything else other than turbo and FFE? What brakes are you running?

So much wheelspin, you should look into wider tyres

Congrats Alias! Or, should I call you Mr. Turbo?
More details and pictures please! What is the approximate increase in power? Which turbo, intercooler and standalone are you using? Can you use regular unleaded or do you need the high octane stuff? Stock brakes and suspension? Come on man! Don't keep us in suspense Mr. Turbo!
