The car is ready to go to Autopsyche garage, since i can't possibly run it anymore, due to annoying leaks in the petrol bay. Project to gain momentum as soon as i get the moolah!

Sounds pretty exciting.
How about a M3 engine on it.
Will make it a scorcher

Why dont you just take some nice pics of your car itself. it looks pretty good. That makes 3 of us E36 owners on Tbhp.

okay guys, the project is comming along nicely, the engine is now in proper working condition, only minor bodywork and paintjob is remaining along with the refurbishing the interiors. Now rims wise, im in a bit of fix as i want to go the Lenso way however, the choice of rims is quite limited due to the PCD.

I would prefer to go for 17 inches with yokohama S drives in 215/45 profile, although going for 18s does seem quite tempting! What would the gurus recommend??

Anyways, here are the designs, do let me know what would suit it best.

17s
Lenso CF

Lenso Drivex

Lenso Eagle

In 18s

Lenso GF-7

Cheers, awaiting inputs!

My suggestions,

in 17 inchers :

Lenso Eagle

In 18 inchers :

Lenso GF-7

The 18" lenso GF-7 looks uber cool, please consider.

HAHA "Lenso Eagle"?! More like a direct replica of BBS RS.

"E36" caught my attention. I'm planning on buying a 95-00 M52B28 E36 to turn into a track car. The plan is to get rid of the A/C, radio, all seats, carpet, padding on all doors etc. In short the inside of the car will be bare metal. A decent donor car can be bought for ~$6-8k.

At this point the car should weigh less than 2800lb/1270kg, so it shouldnt require too much power to get moving. I'm planning on just basic CAI and exhaust, and a good suspension setup rounded off with lightweight 17" wheels. I'm shooting for 200RWHP so that should put the power-weight ratio will be right around 15lb/hp.

Funny thing is, my "race car" will have only half the power-weight ratio of my 100% stock road car

I'll definitely post up a thread when I do this.

Good luck on your build - do take pictures when you're done! cheers:
How much was your car btw? Please PM if you don't want to post, I'm curious!

I say dont go overboard. E36s dont look too good with radical mods, they lose their classiness. Here's mine..bone stock 10 year old.
