Body Kit for the Honda City Vtec 2002 - Team-BHP

Hi Team,
Please can you let me know what is Honda City Vtec 2002 called in international market? Also wanted to know whether is there a option for installing a projection or LED light for the Honda City Vtec 2002… also wanted to know whether Mugen has a kit designed for this model.

Vinay, my answers point wise are below:

1. The Indian Honda City referred to as the OHC was sold in very few markets, most notable of them being Thailand where it was manufactured. The internal Honda code for the model you have is Type IZ.

2. No, Projector lights are not available for this car.

3. I don't think Mugen ever designed a kit for this car. But a lot of fabricators in India have & you could get quite a few options in Thailand/Malaysia too.

i think u do get projector lights for the city, i did see them in tokyu thailand

why is Body kit required?
Dealer advised me against it, as it reduces ground clearance(his claim)

You saw an OHC in Tokyo? I very much doubt that.

I think tokyo is in Japan rather in Thailand. May be its a different place

Frankly, car looks good without body kit but I am biased

Suggest you hold all bodywork repairs until you put bodykit so that painting can be done in one shot

Why not post an intro about yourself, you have a car which was of interest to many of us here, do continue the story!

I agree with ajmat. i want to get my car going fast and then I will see to that the looks of it is changed for a fast car. I believe in going fast more than looking fast.

also if I need to install a body kit I am looking for experts how can give me that clean finish. Autopsyche seems to be best, but dont know whether they can get the work done in bangalore.
