Why not try SHELL?
I had used it once before I shifted to Mobil1.

I wanted to know this, which engine is better for street performance:-
A 1.3L engine
or
A 1.6L engine
now into that
A 1.3L carb, twin carb or mpfi?
if a 1.6l then which one? the baleno one or the vitara one?
also what about the GTi engines?
I just want to know about swapping the 1L engine with either of these
Also will the power of the 1.6 lead to torque steer?
Is it possible to achieve 150 bhp from either of the engines with quite less mods?
like porting and polishing the head and throttle body, a FFE can CAI
Also what kind of mods are required for a turbo install in a not so dinstant future?
Also will a LSD help reduce the torque steer?
Is it possible to provide the breakup of these?
I just want to remind that i do not own a zen but if i do find it to be worth the trouble, if it is then i would love to be a 'Zenster'

@abhayshanu - Good to see you thinking ahead!! BTW beyond the E-Zens and the B-Zens, there are also some things called as C-Zens...Essentially a 1.8L Honda Civic Engine on a Zen!. And before you ask me...YES its a bolt on with minor mods...

Are you sure about this? The 1.6 engine itself need alterations in the engine mounts to fit it. The Civic's also must afaik. And besides, did anyone do this yet?

I have seen a B16a fitted in a zen earlier, i think that Team FS had done it.
Also i have seen the above zen in the thread and because i read that due to the 1.6 turbo engine it really torque steers, hence my question, Will installing a 1.6 baleno engine result in torque? also the question, What if we add a LSD, will it still steer or will it become manageable.
I do not want a torque steering car as a daily drive.
Also what about the GTi engines i have heard about?

That is Shabbir's car and it runs a Vtec City's engine and not a Civic's. There are many zens with City engines. I was really interested in seeing one with a civic's.

B16 in a zen? Mouth watering! i had the query regarding the torque steers too, but more over with the bigger engines, the 1.8L with a few mods, can easily be 150hp+ and that poor little matchbox will be so light that am quite doubtful if the suspension and chassis can take the kind of power and actually put the torque down to the wheels efficiently. Wheelspins in every gear is like crazy.

IMO the best street build can be the 1.3 MPFi setup in a Zen with a short ratio gear box, and some N/A mods, just kills anything upto 100 Kmph.
Race builds have hit it's saturation with Zens clocking 12.6 secs or something close, so that stuff is not street-able at ALL. I have had a fair share of driving some Honda engine zens, and it's not pretty.

What difference will it make to the performance of the zen (completely stock) if i replace the stock filter with a kn stock replacement filter without remapping the ecu.
