Update:

I got feedback from navin sir, SRShrikanth and some preliminary feedback from Bass&Trouble

Firstly, Thanks a lot guys for putting your time and energy into this development. It really means a lot. I will try and improve the product as per your suggestions.

I am listing below all the pros & cons as listed by the gurus:

The goods points:

1) It works. It dampens as well as Noise kill and American Dynamics.
2) The adhesion is good on painted metal surfaces
3) It is re usable - As confirmed by SRShrikanth

The not so good points: (Along with my proposed improvements)

1) It currently does NOT dampen as well at Dynamat Extreme.
Have to make it dampen better.

2) The rubber portion is too thick.
Will make it thinner in the next sample.

3) The Aluminum is absolutely hopeless.
The next sample will have a thicker Al layer.

4) The adhesion is NOT good on NON metallic surfaces.
Will try other adhesives.

5) The rubber layer is TOO sticky and soft.
Will fix this in the next sample.

6) Cosmetics are horrible.
Will fix this in the next sample.

Next batch of samples (with the above issues addressed) will be dispatched soon.

Once again I would like to thank all who gave the above feedback.

All the best for the stage2 improvements from the reviews you had Abhi. With improvements planned from suggestions, i think it will benefit to a whole lot of our clan who plan to purchase the tested and satisfied sample.

Thanks Guys.

With regards to point #6, i.e. Cosmetics, I am planning to get some branding/printing done on the product from batch#2 onwards so it looks better and more professional overall.

But before all that, I need to give the product a name... And for that, I need your suggestions. So please .. help me out!!

How does Vibrasorb sound?

At this point, I have a question.
How do you plan to price this product?

In one word... extremely reasonable. (Actually thats 2 words)

Frankly speaking dude, I cannot work out the pricing yet since the final product is developed. Only after that I shall be able to work out the final costs.

A-ha! Development of Version 2 :

I must comment that the effort and hard work going into all this is extremely and thoroughly fantastic. Wish you all the best and vouch to be a customer for your product as I have never been able to purchase the Dynamat line of goods due to their cost, I'm honest.

Name suggestion: Pulsation Extermination, Max Thump or maybe Vibra Waive (will sound like Wave which is both a good thing as it means the high boom will give out good Vibrations )
