Question Prevent Fogging on inside of windshield

In the rains the inner side of the windsheild fogs up . The way to quickly clear it is to switch on the a/c... but this makes the cabin very cold and it also means more fuel consumption. I'm told there is some spray that can prevent this and it can also be applied to the rearview mirrors outside so they are usable in the rains.
Does anyone know what these products are called and where I can find it?
The one I was told about is called Rainex but its apparently not in production anymore...

Any ideas what to do? I'm in Mumbai.
