Synthetic Oil in Bangalore

Someone from bangalore pls help me out...

I need either Mobil 1, or similar fully synthetic oil here.

I tried looking in auto accessory shops but no luck.

Needed a bit urgently for my bike...

Hey Epyupc,

Firstly, ive been wondering - what does your nick mean?? lol

Secondly, i remember hearing that there are seperate synthetic bike oils for bikes which have the same oil in the clutch housing, or alternatively that certain syn-oils arent reccomended by the manufacturer for those situations..... so you might wanna make sure about that if you arent aldready sure.

This thread (The best 4T oil) vaguely touches on the subject.

Hey Rehaan....it was my login id for the university servers. Just use it these days, since I'll never forget it. ;D

For bikes with a "wet" clutch, I just have to make sure ot doesn't have any friction reducing additives.

I think among the ones available in India, the Castrol Magnetic (or Magnetec) is the only one which have those additives.

Stuff like Mobil1 doesn't have it. Thans for looking out...

u can get shell helix synthetic engine oil at any of the shell petrol pumps in bangalore. one near iskon temple & other on vittal mally road

Try General Automobiles on JC Road. A few of us had picked up Mobil 1 from his store.
(I don't know if I got the name of the store right, Mahesh/Rudra can you confirm please.)

does anyone know where can i get a chain spary(lube for bike chain), may be MOTUL or any other reputed brand, i've tired many places but no luck.

Cherry automobiles on JC road, get their number from Just Dial - India's No.1 local search engine...

i got motul chain cleaner & chain lube for my YAMAHA gladiator RS... all imported pack.. they are really good...

i got mobil1 super synthetic 5w40 @ Rs.3140 for 4 litres for my fiat PALIO 1.2 ELX.. have still not used it, will be using it in next service...

thanks for the information Sanjay , will check it out , i have a R 1 5 , every 3-4 washes the chains get dry and makes disturbing noises,caus its open.
