That's a great makeover on your car Frank! Especially seeing how kicked you are.

Could you give us some more detials about that gear knob? it looks really interesting! I'm guessing that Start/Stop button is a dummy?

yea suhail bajaj.. i saw ur pics in fatal 3rrors thread and took 'inspiration' from his esteem for the install.. thanx for the compliments though! is ur bullying (a la rockford) still going on?

ok the starter button on the gear knob is NOT a dummy and had to be wired to the ignition after splicing quite a few wires. as is the norm with homemade starter switches, theres a relay that connects the button to the ignition wiring. one wire for the power, one for the earth and 2 for the actual starter itself.
oh ya and just in case u wanted to know: i only use that to start the car now.. its such a kick!! lol

i shall be posting pics of the car with the lights on but i need time at night for that.. really busy with clinic in the evenings. tonight i might just do it. watch this space!

in my opinion the lights look quite irregular at night, thats cos of the spray of the paint and the crude technique surrounding it. looks unique though..

Yeah, Gautam's car ICE is really nice. Infact his car was with me for a couple of months, listening to his setup was incentive enought to keep it running!

Sounds interesting, where did you get it done? Are the wires concealed or do they run outside the gear lever?

And of course, care to tell us how much it cost?

wires are absolutely concealed. the install is clean and even the relay is mounted below the steering column so not visible at all..
the thing cost 2k + 500 for installation..
