is the sound better with a stainless seteel muff?

the sound is a bit more muffled on a ss muffler, but what makes a difference to the sound is the muffler tip. it deepens and gets more boomy as the tip gets wider.

i have a custom made ss muffler (wide tip) for my palio1.2...sounded ok till i got the headers..with the headers its really loud. reverted back to a regular (custom built again) freeflow muffler. installed it in the middle and have a regular tail pipe. the car is not too loud at low revs, at high revs she screems.

a SS muffler will last longer than a MS(Mild steel) muffler.also it will look better.

guyz i have an auto city 1.5 with an olen (german) suspension,plug wires free flow pilot precedas,reprogrammed gear ratio system(linkway) volker super iridiums, dunno what else to do apart from bolting on a turbo which is due in two motns before that need to excite myself...so suggestions?

how about doing a good head job and a nice street cam shaft...make a good difference in the car.
