Default Forget it!!

Dont even think about it.

Since 25hp is exactly between 15hp & 35 Hp that this product is supposedly going to acheive , this belongs to ""Dude I bolted on 25 BHP" FAQ !!"

Similar thing was discussed before. Check the last few pages of the parked thread: "Dude I bolted on 25 BHP" FAQ !!.

AFAIK, that chip was for 45+ hp

This is not a bolt on ECU. Or did you mean that? I am not sure.

Now what tells me I have heard that one before.

yea CD you are right - not a bolt on ECU. my apologies for the wrong terminology. it's something that is *supposed* to trick the OEM ECU into delivering a richer mixture.

i think its an iat signal modifier or whatever those things are called. and if it does work i wouldnt expect any significant gains.

Hi Silver_shadow,

Though not exactly the same one, a associate of mine tried another unit which is supposed to deliver a richer mixture to improve power, efficiency etc. Sadly there was no improvement but only the depletion of the Bank account !! The gurus on the forum may be in a better position to help out on this but please watch out buddy before you so this stuff. There is also a air system called the "turbonator" which is supposed to deliver serious power which also turns out be a hoax from what i have heard.

Drive safe,

Srinivas

The picture reads +25 HP and the feature list reads 0-15% + HP (adjustable).

Assuming the claim is true, you need to have 165 HP to get a 25 HP boost. With 165 HP already, given Indian driving conditions, would you really want this?

Cheers,

Rajan

lol. good point rajan. so the verdict is that these kind of devices to *trick* the ECU don't usually work (not only this one).

It works, definitely not to the extent of what is usually claimed. Its not VFM also.
