Hope when ghostrider gets the product in Mumbai we can get the name though I seriously doubt you may get this product by the brand name in every shop as it may not be that popular.

ghostrider : please inform whether you could trace the shop and get the product in Lamington Road.
Emkay,

Havent had the time, work's been insane.
Will post to this thread (with pics) the moment I get it done... probably in the next couple of weeks.

Have a merry xmas and a great new year, guys and gals.

I have a stupid and noob question

I got this clock installed in my WagonR, in the empty slot below the HU. Now the clock does not have its own internal memory, so it always stays ON even when engine is off, the green backlit comes on when ignition is turned on.

Now since its displaying the time means its consuming power from the battery. My concern is, will it drain the battery since the clock will always be ON ??

Help regarding digital clock installation in Swift.-img_8447_1.jpg

The clock draws very little power. If your car's battery is healthy then it should not cause any problems.

Question

Sorry, been off the boards for a while....

For anyone still interested, I had the clock retrofitted into my Swift. Took the car down for the second service, asked Vitesse if they had the clock. Turns out they did.
Cost, inclusive of labor?
375, Sir.
Alrighty then, go right ahead and plonk one in for me, thank you.

It's the OEM clock (orange backlight), and MASS themselves will fit it for you, so there wont be any warranty issues later.

Sorry to dig up an old thread !

Can you put the Dzire's Outside Temp Indicator + Clock module on to a swift ZXI?

I dont think it should be hard, since ZXi automatic climate control should have an outside temp sensor anyways.

the clock and temperature gauge in Dzire comes in swift as well in zxi and vxi trims. it costs around 1600 Rs. Are you asking if you can fit that in the old swift ?
