I liked the way how Phil has setup the car, Its very liner and drivable in city conditions also. Power is very nicely distributed across the rev range. Turbo almost eradicates the low end torque problem in the car, It pull forward like a Big diesel sedan.

The BOV noise is addictive. I drove the car for some 25 ODD KMS only till home. Shall be posting more full detailed reviews once I cover a few KMs on the car. Pictures coming up and a video also. Brakes are superb, The new pads and discs do the job well of stopping the car. Mintex Pads have given the much required confidence to push this too the limit.

I can already imagine the on your face. I am sure the car feels fast-er !!! So you can have a drag with the B-16 & post results. I think it would be close.

If & when you put in a Turbo on the B-16 no point in having a drag & no point in posting comparisons either.

So you feel the Brakes are way better with the Mintex ? Why did you change the rotors though ? Worn out or have you put in slotted ones now ? If the Mintex is great guns on OE rotors then I think it is about time I got mine as well.

Cheers

BTW I notice that your signature has some new additions

How bout posting 2 new threads for both the beauties
Pics and videos coming soon. Yes with the Civic and City being Petrol addicts, had to get my self a daily office runner, So got myself a Cruze Automatic, but clearly ever since the Civic has come back, Cruze is just parked in one corner.

The B16 is faster no doubt, with the new tweaks done on the City it is clearly ahead, though the civic is in a league of its own. I simply love the Tein Superstreet suspension on the civic. Brakes have improved, very adequate stopping power and they dont fade on constant usage also. OE rotors had worn out, they had served me for 50000 KMs. Rotors were never changed on this car ever since I bought it, even though PHIL insisted they had life, but I forced on a change. I dont feel the need to upgrade the rotors, has enough stopping power. I recommend on your car too.

Yes, both are SpeedSport "TWEAKED" no point comparing. Very different cars for very different purposes.

The point is WHO was driving the "other" car & which car "you" drove I think you get the drift. Now do not tell me "it was in a straight line" you can hardly ever drive in a straight line

Car completed 500 KMs with the turbo and everything is working like a charm. I have sent the car back to the workshop for a routine check and fine tuning. Phil's hands are full these days tuning cars daily.

One of the pics of the session. GTi Twin Cam Zen, My B16 Honda City and Turbo Civic. All waiting for their respective tuning sessions.

We did not do comparison runs between the cars, but I am sure after the zen was tuned It would keep up with my civic. The car which has me worried is PHIL's "WIDOW MAKER 2"

No need to worry mate !! Just use your MONSTER on wheels 'after' the forged internals, turbo install & 15psi - (another secret....shhhhh) insist on a straight line drag no twisties

Just an update.

The Car completed 1500 KMS and everything is going well (touchwood), the car is becoming one interesting drive everyday. I recently was planning to buy myself a Skoda Laura vRS but after getting a test drive, that thing is no where close to the brutal power delivery my civic has. Money saved

Some pictures attached. Enjoy. Also pictures of the new interiors. Leather seats, new gear knob.

Good to know the Turbo is treating you well.

Reliability is one of the main concerns with these TC'ed cars. The new pics are well shot. A properlly planned shoot, eh! I am contemplating to get myself this CF kit next time I visit Thailand. The Type R gear knob, black leather on seats, your car looks hot inside out, Manan. Congrats on the beast once again.

I'm curious. How can any work be accomplished with the cramped engine bay that the Civic has? Is everything done from the bottom or is the huge plastic trim in the front removable? And once removed, does it liberate space to work comfortably from the top?
