Help: Info on Opel Astra mod's needed. - Team-BHP

hi..guys..,
i hav a 98 astra.i would lik to change the air filters .can u plz tel me which ones to go..lik the basic ones or the performance filters initially..i m lookin to mod up the astra..performance vise..so i need some info reg astra mods...i m lookin to fit a hks performance exhaust..its it compatible....and even reg the headers and other stuff for astra...

why do you wanna go in for the hks exhaust ?? any particular reason ?? because there are many other options. but any way think about it and make your decision .

hey buddy sicne your in bangalore ...so then dom's the guy you should call anyways...ive installed a 4670 universal filter on an astra..well the performance is amazing on low rev's and as far as the headers are concerened well dom can get you custom made one's according to your driving needs and then you can go in for a HKS power exhaust..that should do the trick well besides that all i can think of is port the head...polish the pistons...and yea iridium or plaitnum plugs with high intensity ignition wires...so if you do need any more info or any of the performance parts please feel free to pm me...cheers...!!

i have recently put a universal filter on my 97 astra. the car has become awesome at low revs. if you have fuel efficiency in mind then go for the stock replacement filter. but since you would be going for more mods after this i guess you should put the universal filter. or you could go for the typhoon or fipk kits. however i dont know much about them.

thanx buddy...well can giv me the contact of dom..since i m new..to the forum..i m not aware..but i hav been goin thru all the tech forums.what are the other options in option to the performance exaust.i aint lookin for fuel..so i jst want gud torque.how much bhp can we increase on the stock astra ..at max.....

you dont get hks exhausts made fr rthe astra. also they are in the 20k plus range...why do you need that ???
get some done over here will get you good performance

hey iceman......ur ride is cool man..i ve seen a lot of v-tec's..but i aint seen a baleno lik ur 's ..great performance..dude..i was thinkin of gettin an hks..coz i heard its the best..well ...how much does the exaust's.in.here come for..approx...tell me what should i look for whn i change the exaust...anythn specific for the astra's...
