DocG its a MS pnp unit, and it will be final tuned here itself. The stock ecu is an older bosch motronic 173, the MS is integrated into the stock shell with an added port. Why MS? For both fuel and timing control.

So finally the car did roll, great ! It would be nice to see once the new ECU etc are put in & "tooned"

Great going guys !! So by when is it going to be ready ??

As for the interior, given the present paint job, a dark rustish leather would be very nice. I have seen it in a few BMW's

Looking forward to pictures AM !!

Cheers

Good work Autopsyche and congrats to you accordmasters.

Though i'd still say that you insist that a tuner is flown in from abroad to tune the car as per the Air-Fuel ratio.
As it is you've spent so much on the car.this little more money will bring out the full potential of the car.

hey thanks navpreet and ricky sir .... i'm just waiting to drive the car first and initially we ( arush and physically present me) will try to tune the car and i think going the trial and error way we should be able to get the beast running.
Posting a picture of the front that was taken yesterday. As for the interiors finally decided going the m3 way getting the fox red leather inside and for the dash its getting painted black , steering wheel is getting new leather too. The speedo needs to be fixed i was searching for an e34 m5 speedo if any one got an idea of where i can get it from then please let me know.

hey badboyscad thanks for the ps but its something like the second pic i was talking about but if you magnify the image you could see the metal strip in which the grill is situated runs along to the edges under the headlights too so that whole strip of metal under the headlights including the grill .

im telling you again please keep it looking like itself. its a bimmer not a charger. why try and confuse german for american. it looks best like itself. people will recognise it as a bmw instantly by seeing the grille. if painted black it will be a lot less visible.

EDIT - glad you agree. now how about some more pics.

Keep the german Beemer look man.Its looking fab in that colour. The finish quality seems to be pretty good.Hope you guys know what you're doing by the trial and error thing.Coz wrong values in the ECU will mean complete disaster for the engine and since this is a Forced Induction Engine the damage will be magnified.
Just be careful with it.Its a beauty i'd really like to be on the streets rather than the garage.

WHY oh WHY ????? Do you want your car to look like what it is not ! Just do the interior nicely & put a nice set of wheels & you are done, (in the looks department)

The challenge of taming the 300 german horses, still remains. IMHO Concentrate on getting that right. You certainly don't want all show & no go, do you ?

Best of Luck

Cheers
