Even I got my swifts bumper repaired from one such guy. The bumper was damaged due to a dog hit and the damage was visible and quite ugly. Not just the bumper, he even removed the dent on my cars rear door. I was really impressed by the way he carried out the job. Since my car is black, once he did his job, all I had to do is go home, apply a layer of metal paste to even the surface and paint it using spray paint can. The result was amazing and you can hardly notice the damage now unless you observe it very closely. I was charged just 350 bucks for all this and the spray paint can another 200 or so.

In Bangalore, you can find such guys on west of chord road where there are lot of car accessories shop or on JC road. They keep roaming there with a metal trunk. Or you can even ask in any shops there and they will be able to help you.

though its just 150 bucks for the job, if I go from Gurgaon then I might end up spending more than that on the petrol !

Bangalore guys can someone please tell if where exactly on J.C. Road I can expect to find such bumper repair guys ( If you can post google map ) it will be helpful.

I was driving my safari on a lonely country road looking other wave and on a turn a Maruti zen appeared from no where there is a dent on the side of front bumper , Heat treatment should fix it.

I am quite impressed with the work. These fellows are worth a try instead of going to workshop who tell you to replace the whole piece and get it painted.

What do you think?
