Twin Cam 16V Esteem - Team-BHP

Hi Guys,

I finally have got my car up and running. Am using twin Esteem Mikuni Carbs with 2 seperate fuel pumps and the car works like a dream. Must recommend this engine to anyone who wants a fast car but cannot afford to buy a Honda or Lancer.

Have the original esteem 8V SOHC fully modded for sale if anyone is interested.

Have further polished/ported the head as well. Will post pics of it soon.

I'll get it to the workshop in a day or two. Will be fitting the airfilter adapter tomorrow. Also changing th exhaust so car will be of the road for tomorrow.

Will do dude. Will take a few days though. I want to finish the plumbing for my airfilters first, then wash the engine so can get good clear pics.

Hi There,

What specs do you need. This is a Twin Cam 16V DOHC Suzuki Swift MPFI engine converted to run on twin carbs. It is 114HP stock. I have polished/ported the head and done a 3 angle valve job on it. Runs on 2 K&N conical filters with twin Esteem Carbs mounted on a custom manifold. Has 2 seperate fuel pumps for each carb. Am running on 185/60/14 Bridgestone GIII tyres with stiffened suspension and strut braces mounted in the front & rear.

The pics will take a few days. Let me know i fyou want any more details.

Do you mind explaining what a "3 angle valve job" is. I'm sure many of us are wondering...

Hey dude, if its a suzuki swift 1.3 dohc engine it cant be 114 bhp. the stock engine with fuel injection is 100bhp.
