oh like that ok

well its easy in a way provided you have the units with you. using a simple KWP200 unit and hooking it up into the OBD port is enough. for audi vehicles you can use a vtech unit
same through the OBD port.

there are other ways. which involve the use of obscenely costly equipment.

cheers!

Can you change the map values in the stock ECU using KWP2000 to match what is given by the petes box??

yes more power than a petes box can be achieved.

there is no fiddling with the injector PWM signals or RPS signals. More accuracy will be there and yes more power can also be achieved.[ its complex since FMTC and ET maps should be interpolated which is a tricky thing to do. ] so yeah as thadu put it some mad russian can do it

cheers!

Guys, since you are so into tech knowhow, why don't you start a separate commonrail tech thread? Leave this thread for Rajeev and his Elantra. It's much easier to follow the tech when it's not interspersed with acceleration charts from a Vbox.

No need to delete any of these threads, especially the technical posts. It is nice to see something technical once in a while.

I would urge Raj to continue with the updates.
