Default Siena 1.6 EL. What Mods?

Hi.

I just bought a 2003 Siena 1.6 100BHP 16V

Want to do external mods. Only cosmetic. Want it to look posh and unique. Not too sporty or anything. I m in chennai. Any suggestions? Would body kits help. Are they available for Siena?

I have given below the pic of my car.

1. Get rid of those ugly alloys. Get new ones direct from FIAT. Look awesome. - 25k.
2. Get a FIAT rear wing - will sit on your boot - 3k.
3. Leather seats from Stanley will be nice. - 30k
4. Avoid body kits. They look ugly on the car if not done nicely.
5. Get a K&N Universal and air intake set up. - 10k

This should do the trick for now. Externally, you can either go wild and do it up like a Loeb rally car, or keep it tight and absolutely no stickering at all.

first up, get rid of those rims! and get better rubber! that only will do wonders for the appeal of the car. the rest can come later.
and you can perhaps get the ORVMs painted body coloured.

1.change wheels first, alloys with tyres. atleast go for 14", if possible 15".Old Palio can take 195/65 R15 tyres

2. paint the OVRMS or
replace them with Palio Estile's OVRMS => Look and function better.

3. If possible, paint the roof black (like the Limited Edition Tata Indica Vista)..could be a gr8 problem for AC in Chennai heat. But it'll give the UNIQUE look that you want.

4. Paint the Door handles.

Default Petra - Whole body painting

Planning to get my Petra repainted fully.

Did painting on 4 doors\fenders in Dec 2007 at Tuneup plus while in Pune. The job was not upto the mark and even when taking delivery I could see a lot of bubbles.

Now the paint has started pealing away at places and they are noticeable from close quarters.

I think I dont want to give my car again at such private garages and want the work to be of high quality.

TASS was ruled out as they charge more than 40k for the job.Now have decided to give the car to MyTVS in Coimbatore. They have agreed to complete the job for 30k and in 2 weeks time.I chose them as Sundaram are the dealers for Merc\Honda in Coimbatore and they share the paintbooth.

Anyone has any other suggestion either in Chennai or in Coimbatore?

If you dont mind, can you tell where you got this quote from? Is it a white beam? Do you have to change the headlight lens to accommodate this?

Got it from a shop at GP road. EVERGREEN is the name of the shop. It is opp. to the LIC gate on GP road. I have the number if u want pm me i will message u the number.

I couldnt go for for the HID. The electrician was not sure how to fix in the Siena. So, I went for a Whiteish yellow 100w H1 and H7 bulbs. That in itself took 5 hrs to get fixed and work properly.
